Fall Pumpkin Decorating Contest

Let’s celebrate fall and decorate Navy’s lobby with some awesome pumpkin creations! Every student is encouraged to decorate a pumpkin and enter it into our school contest. Students can submit their own pumpkin, work in groups, or get the whole family involved!  

Guidelines:

  • Please bring fresh pumpkins only. No smelly or rotten pumpkins. Remember, if you choose to carve a pumpkin, it will only stay fresh for a couple of days.  
  • Candles are not allowed. 
  • Be creative, but please be appropriate.   
  • Limit one entry per Navy student. 

The pumpkins will be grouped and judged by grade. Each grade will have two winners. If siblings or friends from different grades submit a pumpkin together, then that pumpkin will be placed in the grade of the oldest student listed on the entry form. Navy staff and volunteers will vote throughout the day. 

Bring your pumpkin to the school lobby no later than 9am on Thursday, October 28. All pumpkins must be delivered with a completed entry form (see form below). Winners will be announced at the end of the school day and you will receive your prize and get your picture taken for the yearbook.

All pumpkins will be displayed in the school lobby on Thursday, October 28. Pumpkins should be picked up after school on Thursday, October 28. Any pumpkins still in the lobby on Friday will be discarded.
