Navy Pumpkin Contest Information!

Calling all Navy Elementary students to join in the fun of the Pumpkin Decorating Contest!  All you need is a pumpkin and your imagination to create incredible pumpkin personalities.

Use any materials you like to make your pumpkin come to life.  No candles, please, and carving is optional.  Be creative but please be appropriate!

Students can submit their own pumpkin creation or get the whole family involved.  Limit one entry per Navy student.  Bring your pumpkin to the school lobby no later than 9:00 a.m. on Friday, October 24th.  All pumpkins must be delivered with a completed entry form –available here on website!  Any pumpkin that arrives after 9:00am will not be accepted. 

Voting will take place throughout the day by Navy teachers, staff and volunteers. This year, there are no pumpkin categories. Create and decorate your pumpkin however you like. There will be one “Grand Prize” winner per grade~ The winners will be announced at the Fall Festival. Prizes will be distributed to homeroom teachers on Monday, October 27th.

All pumpkins will be displayed in the school lobby at the Fall Festival.  Students need to take their own pumpkin home that night.  A few pumpkins will be donated to a local Senior Living Center.  If you are unable to attend the Fall Festival but want to keep your pumpkin, please contact JT Godown to make arrangements.
