Dear 6th Grade Parents,
Our children have entered their FINAL year at Navy Elementary – hard to believe! In 6th grade, there are many traditional and fun events that the students will enjoy. We hope you can volunteer for some of the activities to help make this a memorable year for all.
In order to fund these activities and events for the 6th grade year, we are asking each family to make a one-time $60 donation. This donation covers grade level parties, grade level t-shirts, teacher gifts and the end of year event.
In an effort to make the collection of money as easy as possible an online payment form as been created. We encourage you to make your donation online, there are no additional fees charged to you for using the online form.
If you still prefer to pay by check, then please make checks payable to the “Navy PTO”. In the memo line please note “6th grade donation” and your child’s name. Please return to school in an envelope marked on the outside with your child’s name and “6th grade donation.” Teachers will collect the donations. In order for our Room Parent Committee to plan, make reservations, and order t-shirts, we request that you send your donations by Friday, November 3, 2017.
The PTO will manage the 6th grade finances because the class donations are pooled together to cover the expense of the grade-wide activities.
