Runner’s Club

The PTO is excited to host Navy Elementary’s Runners Club as a before-school activity!

Who: All students, Grades K-6

What: Bring your student to run or walk with friends in this free program. They will have the opportunity
to earn a toe token for every 30 laps completed, and a t-shirt is awarded at year-end to the top 100 runners
with the most laps run. Parents are welcome to stay or drop-off.

When: Wednesday mornings, 8:10 a.m. – 8:40 a.m.

  • Fall Season: September 27, 2017 – November 22, 2017
  • Spring Season: April 4, 2018 – May 30, 2018

Where: Field at Navy Elementary School

Why: To promote physical fitness among our students and encourage them to live a healthy, active lifestyle.
Plus, it’s fun!

How: Complete and return the bottom half of this permission slip (PDF link, below) to your child’s teacher by Wednesday,
September 20th, or bring it with your student to Runners Club if he/she joins mid-season.

Cancellations: In the case of inclement weather or a very soggy ground, Runners Club will be cancelled.
We will then email parents at the address you list below as well as post a message at
http://www.facebook.com/NavyElementaryPto by 7:00 a.m. Please check for updates prior to coming if the
ground is wet.
